- Once we settle on dates that work best for you you, we will coordinate with your chosen hair and makeup artist to ensure they are available that day as well. You can see more details below about our preferred makeup artist Sherri Jessee, and stylist Azlinn Edwards.
- Once the date is set, we will set up a styling session with Azlinn to occur at least 2 weeks before your portrait session.
PROFESSIONAL HAIR AND MAKEUP STYLING BY SHERRI JESSEE
Hair and makeup by Sherri Jessee is a highly recommended option with your senior experience. With more than two decades of experience traveling the world as a platform artist, she has amazing talent in hair, makeup, fashion editorial, runway, film and television work. Nathan has known Sherri since 1999 (she still cuts his hair), and they have been collaborating on client shoots since 2012. Known for her passion and work ethic, there’s not a task you can give Sherri that she can’t handle with elegance.
PROFESSIONAL WARDROBE STYLING BY AZLINN EDWARDS
Styling can be a challenge, and Azlinn is ready to meet that challenge. Fashion and style always came very easily to her at a young age. She always loved curating outfits that gave her intriguing confidence, and that is what she will do for you as part of your styling session at her boutique in Johnson City, TN, Azlinn Hope. Azlinn has the experience you are looking for to give you the right tools so you can be a master of your own personal style for our photo session.
FAQ
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?
We would prefer you contact us as soon as you know your desired shoot date so that we can meticulously plan and coordinate the perfect shoot for you. At a minimum, 3 weeks in advance is required to make your session a sucessful one.
DO I GET TO CHOOSE MY LOCATIONS?
Yes, but if you need ideas, we’ll be happy to help you choose. Your high school, sports field, open field, downtown, and event venues all make great backdrops for your photos. Keep in mind that some venues charge an hourly rate for use.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
In the unfortunate event of rain during a scheduled outdoor session, we can reschedule; however, if you want to be adventurous, some of the most unique photos are taken just after a rain shower. The choice is yours.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
A few different outfits:
It’s a good idea to a lot of outfit options so you will have variety in your photos. If you are wanting sport or hobby images, be sure to bring your
uniform and any accessories to complete the look.

Consider bringing some accessories, such as jewelry, scarves, hats, or glasses, to add some variety to your photos.
